Department of Integral and Differential Equations exists for more than 75 years. The world-famous scientific school of differential equations and nonlinear oscillations were established and operating successfully within the department. The main representatives of this school are Academicians of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Yu.O. Mitropolsky, A.M. Samoilenko, M.O. Perestyuk.

Today, the Department staff has eleven staff members including five professors, four associate professors, one assistant professor and one engineer.

A number of normative and special courses for the students that specialized in “Mathematics”, “Statistics” and “Mechanics” are taught.

The Department has scientific seminar on differential equations. which is leaded by O.M. Stanzhitskii and O.V. Kapustian. The honorary leaders of seminar are Academicians A.M. Samoilenko and M.O. Perestyuk.
